Donald Driver — a wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. Driver is one of the most inspiring players in the NFL. He set a career best for yards on November 12, 2006 when he caught six passes for 191 yards including an 82 yard touchdown. In the NFC Championship game on January 20, 2008 against the New York Giants, Driver had the longest play in the playoffs of the Packers' franchise history with a 90 yard TD catch. Tom Glavine — a left-handed Major League Baseball pitcher. With 164 victories during the 1990s, Glavine was the second winningest pitcher in the National League. Ilya Kovalchuk began his professional career at the RSL club HC Spartak Moscow. He played there for two seasons before entering the NHL. Drafted by Atlanta first overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Ilya Kovalchuk was the first Russian to be drafted first overall in NHL history.  In 2002, Kovalchuk was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team.  In the 2003-04 NHL Season Kovalchuk scored 41 goals, making him a co-winner of the Maurice ‘Rocket’ Richard Trophy after tying for the league lead in goals. Kovalchuk also participated in the 2004 NHL All-Star Game. In the 2005-06, Kovalchuk tied his career-high of 46 assists for a career-high 98 points leading the Atlanta Thrasher in scoring for the second consecutive season. He also became the first Thrashers player to score 50 goals in a season. In early 2006, Kovalchuk was recognized for his charity efforts focusing on unfortunate children in Atlanta and the Philadelphia area. Matt Ryan — quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. He was drafted by the Falcons third overall in the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Boston College. From the 2005 season through 2007, he was Boston College's starter, leading them to three bowl victories and a 25-7 record in 32 starts. He threw for 200 or more yards 15 times and is fifth all-time in school history in passing yards and in pass completions. He also earned MVP honors at the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl. In 2007, Ryan led his team to an ACC Atlantic Division championship and was named ACC Player of the Year. He has also earned honors as the 2008 NFL AP Offensive Rookie of the Year. Ryan became the first rookie quarterback to start a season for the Falcons since 1975. In the game, Ryan completed his first NFL pass for a 62-yard touchdown to Michael Jenkins becoming the first quarterback to throw a touchdown on his first career NFL pass since 2000.
